Journalists came under fire in Karabakh: there are wounded

Two employees of the French publication Le Monde were injured

Today, October 1, during shelling in Nagorno-Karabakh, where hostilities between Armenia and Azerbaijan continue, two employees of the French publication Le Monde were injured.

It is reported that the incident occurred in the city of Martuny. The condition of the injured journalists is not specified.

In turn, according to the deputy editor-in-chief of the TV channel "Dozhd" Dmitry Elovsky, who was next to them, several groups of journalists came under fire when they were inspecting the houses of local residents.

- Fortunately, there was a basement nearby, and we all ran there. Colleagues from Le Monde were in another car, he said.

The Government of Armenia assigned responsibility for the incident to the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. Baku has not yet commented on the situation.
