Ukrainian border guards banned Russian actor and TV presenter Oscar Kucher from entering the country for three years due to his illegal visit to the annexed Crimea.
"A Russian born in 1974 arrived in Ukraine with a residence permit in our country. However, the border guards established the facts of their illegal visit to the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Today, a foreigner left Ukraine on the Kyiv-Warsaw flight. After registering him for departure, the border guards banned the violator from entering the territory of our state for three years, in accordance with the requirements of Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons," the State Border Service said in a statement.
The General State University of Ukraine traditionally does not specify the name of the person who has been sanctioned, but according to "Ukrainskaya Pravda" it is Oskar Kuchera, who recently presented his new play "I Can't Cry" in Odessa and was vacationing in the city. Before that, he was in the Crimea with this performance.
It is noted that the State Border Service is preparing a letter to the subdivision of the State Migration Service with the initiative to cancel his residence permit, which gives him the right to temporary residence in Ukraine.
