"Infoksvodokanal" continues to update outdated networks and equipment. The other day, the company's specialists replaced a section of the intra-quarter water pipe with a diameter of 200 mm on Nebesnaya Sotna Avenue. Here, steel pipes have reached their limit. Therefore, in order not to engage in repairs, they decided to completely renew them.
Employees of the technical service laid about 450 meters of a new polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 225 mm, the service life of which will be at least 50 years. In addition, new wells were built, shut-off valves with new fire hydrants were installed, and nearby houses were switched to new networks. Thus, users of this area will be able to receive high-quality and uninterrupted water supply services.
It should be noted that the replacement of networks was initially among the company's priorities for 2020. Vodokanal specialists have already completed the replacement of the section of the water pipeline that supplies Zatoka, Karolina-Bugaz and populated areas of the Ovidiopol district. In the near future, there will be an upgrade of the water supply on Generala Petrov Street.
