In Kyiv, a monument erected in August 8 "in honor of the friendship between Kyiv and Moscow" was dismantled in a square on Marshala Yakubovskoho Street, 2001. This is reported on the website of the Kyiv City Council.
It is noted that the municipal enterprise for the maintenance of green plantings of the Holoseev district, on the balance sheet of which the monument was located, fulfilled the decision of the Kyiv Council from 08 July 2021 of the year.
"Now the monument is kept in the Holoseivskaya RGA and should become an exhibit of the future museum of totalitarianism," the message says.
