The bodies of three dead sailors from the Ukrainian cargo ship Arvin, which sank in bad weather in just five minutes the day before off the coast of Turkey, were found. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

"According to the announcement of the Turkish authorities, as of 10:00 a.m. on January 18, 6 crew members were rescued (five citizens of Ukraine and one citizen of the Russian Federation), the bodies of three dead sailors were found (the procedure for their identification continues)," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said in a statement.

The rescued sailors were placed in a local hospital in Bartyn. Rescuers continue to search for the rest of the sailors, whose fate is unknown.

The ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey and consular employees arrived in Bartyn to provide the affected citizens of Ukraine with the necessary consular assistance and coordinate interaction with Turkish competent authorities on the spot. The case is under the personal control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the country's embassy in Turkey.

According to the Embassy of Ukraine in Turkey, the rescued Ukrainian sailors have already been discharged from the hospital.
