Zelensky reported on the massive shelling of Sloviansk, showing apocalyptic footage of burning cars.
"Another day that started with the terrorism of the Russian Federation. The aggressor state shelled our Slovyansk. Unfortunately, there is a dead person and victims of various degrees of severity. All services are available on site. Help is provided. Debris clearance is in progress. Debris breakdown is in progress," the message reads.
Two people have already died, another 29 have been injured. Among them is one child.
According to the administration, the attack was carried out by two S-300 missiles. Administrative and office buildings, five high-rise buildings and seven private houses were destroyed, according to the information provided by the head of the Donetsk OVA Pavlo Kyrilenko.
In addition, the occupiers launched a rocket attack on Druzhkivka — two S300 rockets hit the Druzhkivka orphanage and almost completely destroyed it. There were no casualties.
