On the evening of Thursday, October 21, three fatal accidents occurred in Odessa and the region. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of the Odesa region.
One of the accidents happened in Chernomorka on Svobody Avenue. Around seven o'clock in the evening, the 62-year-old driver of a Daewoo Matiz flew into the oncoming lane and collided with minibus #220. The woman died of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
The second accident occurred on the Odesa-Yuzhny highway near the village of Gvardeyskoe. There, the BMW driver, leaving the secondary road, did not give way to the FORD car. As a result of the collision, one of the FORD passengers died, four more participants in the accident - the drivers and their passengers - were taken to the hospital with injuries of varying degrees of severity.
The last accident happened on the E-95 highway near Odessa near the village of Altestovo. There, as a result of the collision, two trucks burned down. According to preliminary information, while moving towards Odessa, the truck driver lost control and collided with a truck parked on the side of the road. As a result of the impact, the first truck caught fire, the driver died.
