Today, January 28, the Verkhovna Rada failed to appoint Yury Vytrenko to the post of First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Energy.
The corresponding decision was supported by 204 people's deputies.
Votes were distributed by factions as follows:
- "Servant of the people" - 177,
- "Trust" - 18,
- Non-fractional — 9
Note that this was the second request to appoint Vytrenko. The first parliament took place on December 17. Then only 186 People's Deputies cast their votes "for" against the necessary 226. And the profile committee did not support the initiative to appoint him as a minister even before the vote of the Council.
