Early elections of the mayor of Kharkiv will be held in the fall - Dobkin

Early elections of the Kharkiv mayor will be scheduled for the last Sunday of October, October 31

Early elections of the Kharkiv mayor will be scheduled for the last Sunday of October, October 31.

This was reported by former People's Deputy Mikhail Dobkin, Vesty.yua writes.

"Autumn elections - according to the law, we have two dates on which early elections can be scheduled: these are the last Sundays of March and October. The Verkhovna Rada will definitely appoint re-elections for the fall. And he will do it in the spring, or even in February. They will not play with this date: their reputational losses will be too great. Leaving Kharkov without a head means losing his ego forever, even though he is already electorally lost for them: the president has a rating, but the "Servant of the People" does not," said Dobkin.

According to Dobkin, who is going to run for mayor of Kharkiv, he will have to fight with the current acting Mayor Igor Terekhovy.

"My main competitor will be Avakov's team. Igor Terekhov, secretary of the city council, is speaking for them today," the ex-people's deputy is confident.
