Part of the Russian troops is returning from the Ukrainian borders to the places of deployment. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that the "military exercises" had ended, so it was decided to withdraw part of its forces.
Also, units from the communications brigades, detachments of engineering units and radiation, chemical and biological protection (RKBZ), including aviation, are returning.
The commander of the district troops, Alexander Zhuravlev, says that all tasks have been completed. Planned combat training events at training grounds will continue. A whole complex of measures is ahead, including bilateral tactical exercises involving aviation and air defense systems.
