Zelensky signed a law on supporting small businesses and people in "red" zones

Entrepreneurs and employees who stopped their activities due to the quarantine will receive 8 thousand hryvnia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law "On providing assistance to insured persons for the period of implementation of restrictive anti-epidemic measures introduced to prevent the spread of acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus, which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on March 30. This was reported in the press service of the head of state.

According to the law, individuals - entrepreneurs and employees who were forced to stop their activities due to quarantine in "red" zones, will receive a one-time financial payment of 8 thousand hryvnias from the state budget.

In addition to the state-guaranteed aid, FLPs and hired workers will be able to additionally receive payments from local budgets, if the local self-government body makes the appropriate decision.

Material payment can be received by registering through the application or the Unified portal of state services "Diya".
