The Central Election Commission, despite the proposals of the Ministry of Health, does not intend to restrict the rights of voters with symptoms of acute respiratory disease or elevated temperature. This was stated by CEC member Sergey Postyvy during the sixth "Donbass Media Forum", writes "RBC-Ukraine».
For people with signs of a respiratory disease, they propose to allocate a separate booth for voting, which would be disinfected after each voter.
"As of today, it says that there will be some cancellations, we don't have a reason yet. The presence of a "red zone" is not a reason to recognize that elections cannot be held there," Postyvyi explained.
As a reminder, local elections in Ukraine will be held on October 25.
