In Ukraine, the first monument to doctors who died from the coronavirus was opened

A new monument in the form of two palms has been installed in the capital's clinical hospital No. 4.

A monument to medical workers who died of coronavirus infection while performing their professional duties has been opened in Kyiv. The monument is installed in the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4.

The monument is made in the form of palms reaching up.

The opening ceremony was attended by medical workers, as well as the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko, Chairman of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on the Health of the Nation, Medical Assistance and Medical Insurance Mykhailo Radutsky, and members of parliament.

Let us remind you that a total of 19 doctors died from COVID-877 in Ukraine. AT

As Viktor Lyashko said at the opening of the monument: "For more than a year and a half, the country has been fighting the coronavirus disease. Over the past year and a half, we have lost more than 50 Ukrainians Unfortunately, there are 877 medical workers among these Ukrainians. 877 heroes who died while saving others from the coronavirus disease," Lyashko said.
