From June 1, a temporary ban on the passage of trucks on public roads at a temperature of +28˚C began in Ukraine. This is reported by Ukravtodor.
The ban applies to vehicles with an actual weight of more than 24 tons and an axle load of more than 7 tons.
At the same time, it is allowed to drive in the heat for trucks that transport dangerous goods, things that perish quickly, live animals and poultry, as well as trucks whose activities are related to the prevention or liquidation of the consequences of emergency situations.
Appropriate prohibitory road signs and information boards have now been installed on the roads.
Drivers can wait out the hot period at the temporary parking lots in the road diversion lanes and near the road service facilities.
Addresses place of stagnation along state roads and TIR parking lots can be found using the signs or on Google map.
