Russia has begun a partial withdrawal of troops from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea. At the same time, the withdrawal of troops from the eastern border of Ukraine in the Voronezh region has not been observed. About it in the interview RBC-Ukraine said the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine Serhiy Deineko.
"After the announced statement of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Shoigu that from April 23 they will begin the withdrawal of troops, indeed, our intelligence observes that this process has partially begun... At the moment, we are seeing this process in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea," he said.
At the same time, there is a concentration of enemy forces and equipment in military camps near Voronezh and the city of Boguchar in the Voronezh region. The latter is located several tens of kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
"As for those field camps in the Voronezh region, we don't see any movement there yet," said the head of the State Security Service of Ukraine.
He reported that the border guards will continue to monitor these processes, but it is still too early to talk about the withdrawal of Russian troops from the borders of Ukraine.
