The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine proposes to change the rules of military registration for women, in particular, cancel fines.
The Ministry of Defense has analyzed possible complications that may negatively affect the work of district territorial recruitment and social support centers (military recruitment centers) due to the excessive number of "wishers" registering for military registration.
"The Ministry of Defense appealed to the other power structures with a request to additionally study and analyze the list of specialties and/or professions related to relevant specialties, after obtaining which women are accepted for military registration, taking into account the real needs for additional staffing of subordinate organizational structures, and to provide proposals by January 6, 2022 to the Ministry," the message says.
It is noted that the department is developing a draft of a regulatory act regarding the exemption of female offenders from the fines that threaten them.
Let us remind you that the following fines have been determined: for Ukrainian women who have not entered the military register - 850 hryvnias, for enterprises where they work - 5500 hryvnias.
