The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that we are not talking about written-off Apple gadgets, but rather new ones, but those that can no longer be considered the most relevant. In addition, the Ministry of Digital Affairs wants to make a similar offer to other global brands.
"We will not use 20-year-old tools, but will attract the best world solutions," said Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
Note that in 2019, a "trial" electronic census was conducted in Ukraine, which was based on data from mobile operators, information from the Pension Fund and state registers. Then it was announced that 37 million 300 thousand people live on the territory of the country controlled by Ukraine (with the exception of Crimea, parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions). Of them, 20 million are women and 17,3 million are men.
Let us remind you that the first all-Ukrainian population census took place in 2001. Then the population was 48,457 million people. Even earlier, the census of the population of Ukraine. as part of the USSR, was held in 1989 — there were 51,7 million people in the Ukrainian SSR.
However, the date of the Second All-Ukrainian Population Census has been postponed for more than 10 years. For example, back in 2010, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to conduct a population census in 2012. However, in January 2012, Deputy Prime Minister Sergey Tyhypko announced that the second All-Ukrainian population census would be postponed to 2013. In 2013, the Cabinet of Ministers postponed this event to 2016. In December 2015, the government again postponed the population census — now to 2020. The latest census date for today — 2023 — was announced in December 2020.
