In the online voting of the unique project "National rating of influence of Ukraine", which takes place on the site https://www.elitukraine.com/ a recorded attack by bots that try to distort the results of the popular vote and bring the "necessary" people to the leading positions. The Organizing Committee of the project told about this in a comment to the information and analytical publication "ElitExpert".
"Our IT-specialists discovered a significant rigging of votes with the help of bots by some unscrupulous participants. Such participants will be fined," said Elena Ovchinnikova, chairwoman of the Organizing Committee of the National Rating "Elite of Ukraine".
She added that the National Rating of Influence is a project designed to select a truly new elite of the country based on their high moral qualities, so such a situation is unacceptable.
"This incident will be the first and last case when someone tries to control the choice of our users," emphasized Elena Ovchinnikova.
