The State Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations has changed the epidemic zoning in Ukraine according to the level of spread of COVID-19. The cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Chernivtsi moved from the "red" to the softer "orange" zone.
This was reported by Oleg Nemchynov, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Telegram.
The new zoning will take effect from Monday, September 21.
At the same time, it should be recalled that on September 16, the Cabinet of Ministers changed the criteria for entering regions into "red" zones. Now, the "red" level of epidemiological danger will be introduced when the country's average incidence of COVID-5 is 19 times higher and 70 percent occupancy of beds in hospitals within 5 days. Previously, the "red" level was introduced in the case of occupancy of more than 50% of beds.
So, from September 21 in red zone will be introduced:

— Peremyshlyansky and Pustomytovsky districts of the Lviv region;
— the town of Berezhany, Zalyschytsky, Zbarazhsky and Ternopil districts of the Ternopil region;
— Slavuta town and Volochyssky district of Khmelnytskyi region;
— the town of Kanev, Cherkassy region;
— Hertsey and Kelmenets districts of the Chernivtsi region;
— Nezhin town and Nosovsky district of Chernihiv region.
