On the night of March 21, the enemy attacked with two "Iskander-M" (KN-23)/Kh-47M2 "Kinjal" ballistic/aeroballistic missiles, as well as 29 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from 11 strategic Tu- 95MS (launch areas - Volgodonsk, Engels - RF.).
As a result of successful combat work, all enemy missiles were shot down in the Kyiv region!
"After a pause of 44 days, the enemy launched another missile attack on Kyiv. The enemy used Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers and ballistic missiles from the territory of the Russian Federation. The air alarm in the capital lasted almost 3 hours. After complex maneuvers in neighboring regions, the rockets entered the capital at the same time from different directions. About three dozen enemy missiles, including ballistic ones, were hit by the forces and means of air defense over Kyiv and in the vicinity of the capital," — said Serhiy Popko, head of the KMVA.
According to preliminary data, as a result of the missile strike:
Podilsky district:
— debris falling onto the territory of non-residential buildings;
— fire at the transformer substation, the fire was extinguished on an area of 200 square meters;
— the information regarding the fall of debris on the roof of a residential building with subsequent fire has not been confirmed;
— ignition on the roof of a non-residential two-story building, the fire was extinguished.
Shevchenkiv district:
— a multi-story residential building was damaged, the windows were blown out by the blast wave, and the apartment caught fire; residents are evacuated from the building;
— the fire of three cars was eliminated;
— debris falling onto the territory of a residential building between a kindergarten and residential buildings, without negative consequences;
— the glazing of the windows of the apartment building was damaged by the blast wave;
— burning of a private residential building.
Svyatoshyn district:
— information regarding damage to the building of the preschool educational institution has not been confirmed;
— damage to a multi-story residential building was recorded — debris fell on the 4th floor of a 9-story building, windows were blown out by the blast wave;
— the car caught fire was eliminated;
At this moment, 12 victims are known for sure. There is no information about the dead.
