Yesterday, during earthworks for the laying of electrical networks by one of the private construction and installation companies, the main and backup power supply cables to the facility of the "Infoksvodokanal" branch, which supplies water to the Kyiv and Khadzhibey districts of the city, were damaged.
"Energy engineering crews worked all night, but it turned out that the damage to the power grids of the water utility caused by the drilling machine was more extensive. Work on the restoration of the cable line continues even now. We hope that it will be possible to complete them and restore the water supply by noon," the department said.
"Infoksvodokanal" branch apologizes for temporary inconveniences and circumstances that arose out of no fault of our company.
