CDTO of the Ministry of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko during interview for DOU spoke about the work on the servicemen's register, which will function similarly to the "Oberig" register. The ministry is also working on a register for veterans in parallel.
According to CDTO of the Ministry of Defense, the planned work on the "Oberig" registry has been completed. The database was increased by 750 records, and 88% of the data has already been verified.
"We are also moving towards the digitization of servicemen's data and will cooperate with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs on all services related to veterans. This seems very logical to us," — Chernogorenko added.
According to Chernogorenko, the Ministry of Defense wants to digitize three areas: the register of conscripts (it has been increased by 750 records, up to 000% of the data has been verified, information is exchanged with the country's main registers), data of servicemen and services related to veterans.
According to her, if a citizen becomes a veteran, is partially discharged or his contract ends, then in a special register it will be possible to find information with details about his service, as well as provide all the services he can apply for.
Register "Oberig" — it is a base of conscripts who can be mobilized. In particular, it does not contain data on active military personnel. As Chernogorenko explained, relatively speaking, it is like a passport register or a single state demographic register with personal information of citizens.
