Hungary is ready for a compromise regarding 50 billion euros from the EU to Ukraine, — Reuters

Budapest sent an offer to Brussels on Saturday

Hungary declared its readiness for a compromise that would allow financing the aid package proposed by the European Union to Ukraine. It is reported Reuters.

It is noted that Prime Minister Viktor Orban openly criticized the EU's financial and military support for Kyiv and blocked the review of the bloc's budget, which forced the leaders to develop a plan B and convene an emergency summit.

Hungarian Prime Minister Balazs Orbán's top political adviser said Budapest sent Brussels a proposal on Saturday indicating a willingness to use the EU budget for the aid package and issue joint EU debt to finance it, if other "cautions" were attached.
