The Starlink system has already been installed and is being tested on 12 tugs. By the end of the year, another 30 ships will be equipped with mobile satellite Internet.
"There will no longer be uncontrolled movement of the fleet (control was traditionally carried out by telephone between the dispatcher and the ship), fuel draining during movement and overestimation of its costs due to write-offs according to norms, theft of cargo simply from holds with broken seals," said the Director General of the UDP Dmytro Moskalenko .
