At the meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the Ramstein format on Friday, April 21, the allies talked not only about the immediate needs of the Armed Forces, but also about the strategy for the entire year 2023. "On the agenda is an analysis of what has already been done, our strategy for 2023, the current needs of the Armed Forces and the distribution of support programs among all units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. We feel the support of our partners and will continue to work for victory," said Reznikov.
Oleksiy Reznikov also met with his German and Polish colleagues — Boris Pistorius and Mariusz Blaszczak. He said that a meeting of the so-called "tank coalition" took place, during which the parties signed an agreement on the creation of a Center for maintenance and repair of the Leopard 2 main battle tanks of Ukraine in Poland.
According to him, this will contribute to strengthening our cooperation and strengthening the capabilities of Ukrainian defenders.
The "armored fist" formed by joint efforts will stop the terrorist regime's aggression against Europe and the entire free world. Ukrainian soldiers know how to defend their country. Modern Western technologies will lead to the defeat of Moscow. The sooner this happens, the sooner peace will come," stressed Oleksiy Reznikov.
As already reported, the Armed Forces need an increase in the supply of anti-aircraft missile systems and missiles to them, since in the fall and winter the Air Defense Forces spent a large number of these missiles to repel massive attacks of the Russian Federation.
