Poland will add border crossings with Ukraine, as well as road and railway sections to the list of critical infrastructure objects. This will make it possible to remove obstacles at the border for the supply of weapons and humanitarian assistance. The corresponding statement was made by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, it is reported TVN24.
He noted that Poland should ensure the full capacity of the border for military goods and humanitarian aid
"Therefore, in order to provide a 100 percent guarantee that military aid, equipment, ammunition and humanitarian aid will reach the Ukrainian side without any delay, we will include checkpoints with Ukraine and the specified sections of roads and railway tracks in the list of critical infrastructure." Tusk said.
The Polish Prime Minister emphasized that "this is a matter of the next few hours."
Tusk explained that the innovation "will mean a different type of organizational regime at border crossing points and on access roads and tracks to the border with Ukraine."
