The US House of Representatives, after discussions on the bill on financial assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, decided to go on a break until February 28. Congressmen never adopted an important document.
As it says "Voice of America", the House of Representatives will return to consideration of aid to Ukraine as early as the end of February.
It is noted that before the adjournment, congressmen discussed whether to vote for the document in the form agreed by the Senate or to make amendments to it.
US President Joe Biden sharply criticized the decision of lawmakers to go on recess. In his Twitter (X) he wrote that the refusal to vote for the draft law on the allocation of aid to Ukraine, which continues to resist large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation, "will not be forgotten."
"The failure to support Ukraine at this critical moment will never be forgotten," — Biden emphasized.
