On the night of July 20, a day after the previous massive attack on the south, Russian terrorists launched a new attack with various types of missiles and Shahed-136 barrage ammunition. Explosions rang out in Odesa and the region: there were interceptions and landings (or the fall of downed aerial targets). X-22 rockets also hit Mykolaiv.
A three-story residential building was partially destroyed in the center of Mykolaiv, 18 people were injured, 9 of them were hospitalized (including 5 children), and one person died.
Rocket attack in Odessa destroyed the administrative building in the middle of the city. As a result of the attack, a security guard died, four people were injured, including a child.
As a result of the shelling and fire, the administration building and office premises, apartment buildings, an educational institution, a lyceum, a kindergarten and cars were damaged.
As a result of the strike in the Mykolaiv and Odesa regions, ports, piers, residential buildings and trade networks were damaged, the Air Force reported.
To attack the south, Russia launched 19 kamikaze drones and 19 cruise missiles at night, including Kalibr, X-22, Iskander and Onyx. The Armed Forces managed to shoot down almost half, 18 of these 38 air targets (13 Shaheds, two Kalibra missiles and three Iskander cruise missiles were destroyed).
