The NASDAQ exchange plans to delist the securities of a number of companies. We are talking about "Yandex", Ozon, Qiwi and HeadHunter. Yandex and Ozon claim that this will not affect their operations.
The American trading platform told Yandex NV, Ozon Holdings Plc, Qiwi Plc and HeadHunter Group Plc that their shares will be delisted from March 24 unless the companies appeal the decision.
"Yandex" announced that it had received a notification about plans to delist shares of class A companies. "The company will file an appeal with NASDAQ in the near future," the company's message received by "Ъ" reads.
"Yandex" believes that a possible delisting will not affect the company's operational activities in any way. Services will continue to work, and "payments with partners will continue to be made on time and in full." "All previously announced partner support programs will remain in effect," the message reads. Regardless of NASDAQ's future decision, Yandex shares will continue to be traded on Mossbourge. The company believes that nothing will change for investors, trading will take place as usual.
Ozon is still studying the delisting appeals process. The Russian company reported that, according to the rules of the exchange, in the event of an appeal, the delisting process will be suspended until a written decision is made by a special commission. A hearing on the appeal must be held within 45 days "of the receipt of the company's request."
"In any event, the delisting decision does not affect the company's operational activities and does not violate its financial stability. We continue to develop our business," Ozon said in a statement received by Kommersant. The company stressed that it has always complied with all NASDAQ requirements. Ozon also pointed out that it is not under sanctions.
