In the Odesa region, a conflict situation continues due to the pressure of security forces on the group of companies "Krupyany Dvir", "Attual" and "Trapeza": strategic enterprises that provide cereals, legumes, cereals and salt to about 40% of the consumer market of Ukraine and are popular and the trust of millions of customers. The company's products can be found from small kiosks "near the house" to the shelves of national retail chains in any corner of Ukraine.
However, on July 12, on the territory of enterprises located in the village. To the delight of the Berezovsky district, law enforcement officers came with searches and actually blocked the work of companies.
And while there was no reaction from Themis to the unjustified "run-in" (and even more so the punishment of the guilty), something else happened - the situation went beyond the borders of Ukraine, causing an international scandal.
The fact is that in the conditions of the severest shortage of salt on the Ukrainian market, it was this group of companies that established the supply and further logistics chains of table salt from Turkey.
If Turkish trucks used to come to the territory of the belligerent state for a lot of money, now thanks to the actions of Odesa law enforcement officers represented by the Office of Strategic Investigations, Turkish transporters intend to stop flights to Odesa, which will lead to a complete cessation of salt supplies from Turkey to Ukraine and a new deficit. on the market.
The reason for this was the fact that the security forces, without any permits, suddenly decided to "check" the trucks of a foreign state, which had nothing to do with the case, during the search of the enterprise, and began to "pressure" their drivers, who were subjects of Turkey. Not only that the law was broken: it is much worse that "people in uniform" intimidated drivers who refuse to come to Odesa and bring salt and other essential goods for the warring country. Moreover, it is not only about salt - truck drivers who brought raw rice from Europe were also "checked". Previously, the main needs of rice in the country were covered by the agrarians of the Kherson region - now, after the occupation of the Kherson region, entrepreneurs had to fill this niche, to establish alternative supplies from Europe and Turkey.
The result of what happened was that the Turkish partners have already informed the Ukrainian side about the suspension of supplies to Ukraine. What is this, if not signs of treason in wartime on the part of security forces?
In particular, the largest Turkish salt exporter, AFRA Holding with Swedish capital, has already demanded payment of fines from Odesa enterprises for their simple transport. Meanwhile, the global geography of the scandal has expanded even more - just a few days ago, the Swedish side appealed to the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden with claims about illegal actions of Ukrainian law enforcement officers, and also sent a complaint to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the same time, it should be understood that after February 24, the logistics of supplies from abroad increased by 40-70% due to the lack of sea transport and the great demand for land transport. Now, in connection with the exchange rate, the increase in fuel prices and the increase in the cost of delivering goods to our country due to the actions of law enforcement agencies, the price of cereals and salt in Ukraine will increase by 20-25% in the near future! However, it will not be the police or the investigators who falsified the documents, but the Ukrainians, impoverished during the war, who will pay for this.
As for moral qualities, it is also worth noting such an unimportant, but very remarkable detail - the inspectors, as if at home, went to the canteen for the company's workers (without even thinking to ask permission from the administration), had a delicious lunch there, after which they continued with new energy put pressure on entrepreneurs
And in general, the searches took place with numerous violations - for example, one of the false "understood" who arrived together with the security forces took almost the most active part in the search.
In addition to searching the territory of enterprises in the village of Happily, the investigators rushed to search the apartments and houses of the founders, ransacked children's rooms, moved toys, seized personal phones and laptops.
The result of this was the seizure of documentation in the office and at the factory, blocked work of enterprises and hints about the possibility of closing inspections for a certain amount. Of course, the businessmen could "go to meet" and "come to an agreement", but they decided to do it, out of conscience, considering it a shame to extort bribes in the conditions of martial law from a strategic enterprise and now intend to bring the matter to an end with maximum public resonance.
Moreover, the situation directly affects the huge workforce of enterprises, among which are the wives of military personnel who defend our country at the front, immigrants from the occupied territories and dozens of residents of the district, in which it was not possible to find a decent job for a long time.
The offices of the Odesa regional military administration, the court, the SBU and the President's Administration already have official appeals from company founders demanding that the illegal actions and extortion of security forces be equated with treason in wartime.
