Japan will send portable water purification units to Odesa. They will be used in emergency situations. In total, Japan will transfer 33 units of such equipment.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan Serhii Korsunskyi thanked the mayor's office of the Japanese city of Yokohama and Japanese officials for the portable water purification units that can be used in case of emergencies in the south of Ukraine. Serhiy Korsunskyi wrote about this on his page at Facebook.
"In the near future, 33 portable installations for water purification in case of emergencies will go to Odesa. We ask Odessa to share with Mykolaiv. I want to believe that they will not be needed, but just in case, let it be," he wrote.
As reported, on June 3, the first 30 tons of humanitarian aid from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan arrived in Rzeszów, Poland, from where they will be sent to Ukraine.
