It is noted that in order to create a fake image of "support" for the Russian dictator, the occupiers sent specially trained squads to the enslaved territories, which will oversee falsifications and monitor the work of the so-called "election commissions".
The GUR explained that one of the tasks of these units is to report by March 10, 2024, on the readiness of employees of enterprises in the occupied territories to "vote", as well as to provide a forecast of "support" for Putin.
"Also, the Kremlin approved a new "procedure" for "voting" at the TOT of Ukraine. The new Moscow methodology provides that it is possible to take part in illegal "elections" in the enslaved territories with both a Russian and a Ukrainian passport, an ID card or another identity document. Such a decision testifies to the failure of forced passporting in the occupied territories of Ukraine, and is also another tool of the Russian special services to identify "unreliable" Ukrainians for repression," — emphasized in Ukrainian intelligence.
In addition, the GUR noted that, on the instructions of Moscow, the occupation administrations and propagandists are actively spreading fakes about the alleged "85% support" of Putin in the Ukrainian National Elections Committee, as well as promoting the so-called "mobile voter" system, which, in particular, allows you to "vote" online and "without registration" in the captured territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions.
