The emergency crews of "Infoksvodokanal" always do everything to ensure that water returns to the homes of Odessa citizens in the shortest possible time - they work day and night, in the heat and in bitter frost, in the rain, and sometimes just in the middle of the roadway.
It is not just about uncomfortable working conditions, but about a real threat to life. After all, you have to work underground - in gas-filled collectors and wells.
In order to minimize risks to the life and health of employees, "Infoksvodokanal" not only equips emergency repair teams with special equipment, but also conducts special trainings. One of them, with the participation of specialists of the State Labor Service, was held at the special educational and training site of "Infoksvodokanal".
Utility workers, with the participation of specialists, worked out the algorithm of actions in the event of emergency and non-standard situations when carrying out work in a gassed well. During the training with simulation of real actions, the employees improved their skills in rescuing and providing first aid to a colleague who, according to the legend of the training, fainted during work in underground communications.
By the way, this kind of training events are not being held for the first time. A few years ago, an all-Ukrainian seminar-training on the safe conduct of work in a closed space was held on the basis of "Infoksvodokanal". Representatives of 17 water utilities of the country took part in it. Specialists of the emergency services of "Infoksvodokanal" demonstrated a high level of training and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and the skills of providing first aid.
