The Russian army cannot do anything about the Ukrainian bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. The aggressor is trying to transfer additional forces there, fearing a worsening of the situation, said a military observer Oleksandr Kovalenko.
"The command of the Russian occupation forces still cannot find an optimal solution to the problem of the left bank, over which the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine is expanding. And while the general attention is focused on Krynyk, where Russian equipment burns non-stop, interesting and very strange things take place a little further west., - he writes in his Telegram channel.
Kovalenko also calls the areas west of Oleshok and Podlisne problematic areas for Russians. According to him, the aggressor transferred additional forces from the Zaporozhye section of the front, as well as from Crimea, to the Dnipro direction. Now this group includes:
- about 70 thousand personnel;
- about 380 tanks;
- up to 1 thousand BBM;
- 500 units of barrel artillery;
- up to 100 RSZV.
The analyst emphasizes that the Russians have so far managed to increase the number of personnel here, but there has been no noticeable increase in military equipment.
"From this we can draw a simple conclusion that the concern in the ranks of the command of the Dnipro troop group is growing along the greater and greater extent of the left bank. And it is not surprising, because almost all of the areas we talked about above have extremely limited logistics, the cutting of which is fatal for the Russians." - states Kovalenko.
Military analyst Ivan Stupak claims that Ukrainian defenders have created three bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, and are trying to push back the invaders as far as possible. At the same time, the Russian army randomly bombards Kherson with rockets and shells - residential buildings, gardens, roads, forest strips.
Stupak also notes the angry whining of the Russian "military forces", who complain that frontal attacks here do not produce any results. The occupiers are dying there, crashing against the Ukrainian defense, and there is no result in the form of knocked out Ukrainian positions.
