Denmark announced a new $330 million military aid package to Ukraine, which included Caesar self-propelled artillery systems and much more. About this reported in the press service of the Danish Ministry of Defense.
In particular, according to the Ministry of Defense, the next package of support for the Ukrainian army involves the transfer of Caesar self-propelled guns, self-propelled 120 mm mortars and ammunition for them.
Denmark allocated funds for Caesar in cooperation with France, and for 155-mm artillery shells - in cooperation with Estonia and the Czech Republic.
"Artillery and mortar systems are in great demand from Ukraine. With this aid package, we make a significant contribution to the struggle for the freedom of Ukraine... The aid is provided in cooperation with our allies and sends an important signal that we support Ukraine on a broad front," — Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said.
It is worth noting that this is already the 16th delivery of military aid from Denmark to Ukraine for the purpose of protection against the aggression of the Russian Federation.
