Vadim Skibitsky, representative of the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense said, that on August 24, on Ukraine's Independence Day, Russia may launch another missile attack, but Russians should be worried on this day.
"Of course, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, aggressive Russia may resort to another act of missile terrorism. It can happen a day earlier or later. Or last several days and several waves. Actually, I don't think that this can surprise any of the Ukrainians." - said the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
He emphasized that the recommendations for citizens remain the same as those that apply throughout the entire period of a large-scale war: if you hear an alarm, go to shelter.
Vadym Skibitskyi added that the Independence Day of Ukraine is the most important state holiday. Many generations of Ukrainians fought for statehood, and this value motivates the current fighters for the freedom and liberation of Ukraine to continue their hard and creative work.
"Not in Ukrainian cities, but in Russia should be worried before the Day of our Independence, as on any other day, because as long as the occupiers are on our land, Muscovites will not see or feel a peaceful life," ― summed up the representative of military intelligence of Ukraine.
