The British space company Spacebit, founded by Pavel Tanasiuk, a native of Ukraine, will deliver the flag of our country to the moon. Tentatively, this will happen in the spring of next year.
Ukroboronprome added that the flag was printed on a 3D printer using zero-waste production technology.
As part of the mission, in addition to the Ukrainian flag, equipment for studying the lunar soil and collecting data on the magnetic field of the Earth's satellite will be sent to the moon.
The flag and equipment will be delivered to the large crater Lacus Mortis on the bright side of the Moon and to the dark region Oceanus Procellarum.
Note that Ukraine will pay 1 million 500 thousand dollars for its participation in this space program.
