Those who received the first CoronaVac vaccination at these centers will be able to receive a second dose at the same centers or vaccination points.
Deputy Minister of Health, Chief State Medical Doctor of Ukraine Igor Kuzyn reminded that according to the latest studies, the CoronaVac vaccine demonstrated 83,5% effectiveness in preventing symptomatic diseases of COVID-19 and 100% effectiveness in preventing hospitalization and death.
In the vaccination centers, vaccination with the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine is also continued for those who received the first dose of this vaccine of any manufacturer (Covishield, AstraZeneca-SKBio), the Ministry of Health added.
