Now, anyone who wishes will be able to issue consent for posthumous donation in "Dia". The Verkhovna Rada adopted the corresponding law.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Health, Lyashko, said that no one would see the information about the agreement while the person was alive, not even doctors. It will become available if brain death has been established.
Also, until December 2023, the transplant pilot project was extended, in which all operations are paid for by the state.
The law will help increase the efficiency and increase the number of transplant operations, which will save the lives of more Ukrainians.
