The head of the Ministry of Health Maksym Stepanov called on the people's deputies to increase spending on medicine, since there is not enough money.
According to him, there is not enough money for the health care sector in the draft state budget. Therefore, before voting on the document in the second reading, parliamentarians must make amendments.
"Underfunding has led medicine to the state it is in... We will justify every hryvnia," the minister said.
He emphasized that if there is enough money, next year the health sector in the country will reach a new level and people will be proud of it.
