The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko said that in Ukraine this year, compared to previous years, huge harvests were collected, including a record harvest of grain.

If earlier Ukrainian farmers harvested 25-30 million tons of grain and legumes, this year this figure has grown to 45 million tons.
However, the experts are unanimous - even despite the harvest, bread prices in Ukraine will still rise, as they depend on the global market situation, including oil and gas tariffs, and, accordingly, gasoline prices. This element of delivery of goods to consumers is an important link in the formation of the price of bread.
In addition, the cost includes the salary of employees who bake bread, production costs, and other raw materials. Actually, the price of bread depends only on 40% of the price of grain.
Therefore, bread and related products will increase in Ukraine already in the fall. According to experts' forecasts, 2-3% should be added to the current price of your favorite brand of bread. This is the price of bread and will be by the end of 2021.
