The free trade zone between Ukraine and Israel will enter into force on January 1, 2021. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this on Twitter.
"This is a new level of relations between countries and the "green world" of export growth, closer cooperation in the fields of high technologies, engineering, and investments. Great news, Benjamin Netanyahu!" - said in the message.
Note that the agreement provides that Israel cancels about 80% of import duties for Ukrainian manufactured goods and more than 9% for agricultural goods. Ukraine cancels about 70% of import duties on Israeli industrial products and more than 6% on agricultural products.
