On Friday, January 20, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Wally Adeyemo, held an online meeting with colleagues from other countries who represent the coalition to establish an upper limit on Russian oil prices.

According to the The US Treasury Department and members of the coalition also discussed further steps regarding the policy of limiting prices for other Russian oil products.

“One price cap for products like oil and diesel, and another for petroleum products that are traded at a discount. This approach will make it possible to better calibrate the policy of limiting the prices of oil products of the Russian Federation in view of the wide range of market prices at which they are sold," the statement emphasizes.

The next review of price restrictions on oil products in Russia is scheduled for March.
