In the near future, the Verkhovna Rada will submit a bill on economic support for citizens and businesses due to quarantine restrictions.
This was stated by the President of Ukraine in his new video address.
According to him, the bills provide that individuals - businessmen and employees, whose sphere of activity is closed due to quarantine, will receive material assistance in the amount of 8 thousand. According to his calculations, more than a million citizens of Ukraine will be able to receive assistance under this program, and its total amount will be almost 10 billion UAH.
The president also promised that economic entities will receive one-time financial aid to preserve jobs.
"This will be an amount proportional to the time of the so-called downtime, up to 8 thousand hryvnias per employee," Zelensky noted.
Enterprises whose work is stopped due to the quarantine will receive compensation for the costs of paying a single social contribution for employees. According to the Head of State, this is almost UAH 1,5 billion for about 120 people. of legal entities. "If your activity is prohibited due to the strengthening of the quarantine, you will receive compensation in the form of ESR for your employees," the president said.
Tax holidays are also provided. With the strengthening of restrictive measures, 200 individuals - entrepreneurs of the 1st group will be exempted from paying all taxes and fees, including ESN.
Also, Zelensky said that business support programs, which worked successfully during the quarantine in the spring, will be restored.
"This is material assistance to FOPs that have children under 10 years old. This is compensation for partial unemployment," said Vladimir Zelensky. The president noted that small and medium-sized businesses have already received more than UAH 13 billion under the "5-7-9% Available Credits" program.
"It is important that the "5-7-9" program continues and expands its opportunities this year and next," the head of state added.
"We very much hope for the support of the Verkhovna Rada for all the above-mentioned important steps," the president said.
