The Verkhovna Rada adopted a general law on the voluntary registration of women in the military
"For" - 297 votes.
According to the law, women who have a specialty and/or a profession related to the relevant military accounting specialty and are on the list of the Ministry of Defense, who have no contraindications to service, are taken on the military accounting of conscripts at their request.
Women who have a medical or pharmaceutical specialty must register for military service.
It should be recalled, that the Ministry of Defense postponed military registration for women until October 1, 2023.
