The Security Service of Ukraine exposed new centers for the production and sale of fake COVID-certificates and PCR tests. This was reported by the press service of the department.
COVID-scammers worked in Kyiv, Lviv and Rivne regions. In total, the attackers "served" more than 10 thousand people.
So, in Kyiv For more than six months, three centers, united in a network, have been operating for the production of fake COVID-certificates and PCR tests.
It is known that the network was organized by a citizen of one of the European countries. He involved the owners of Ukrainian travel agencies, who replenished the "client base" to work on "fake" documents; doctors who entered false information about vaccination in the medical database; as well as ordinary citizens who were engaged in the production of forged documents.
The "client base" of the attackers numbered 6 people. They fulfilled their "orders" for residents of almost all regions of Ukraine, including for residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, citizens of the Russian Federation and other states.
According to the investigation, most of the forgeries are certificates about a negative PCR test, the cost of which amounted to UAH 700-800 on average. The international certificate of vaccination cost UAH 3, and the entry of vaccination information into the database without its completion — UAH 000.
During the six months of the scheme's existence, the perpetrators "earned" about 10 million hryvnias.
Currently, the foreign organizer of the scheme is detained. The law enforcement officers informed him about the suspicion of sex. Suspicions are also being prepared for his accomplices.

Law enforcement officials established that one of the organizers of the transaction coordinated the actions of criminals from a neighboring European country.
According to the investigation, residents of Lviv and the region forged vaccination "documents" for 4 months. They involved medical workers who entered personal data of "clients" into the electronic healthcare system "eHealth" to the "case".
The cost of a fake international COVID-certificate was 250€, domestic - 1800-2000 hryvnias.
Every day, the dealers produced 10-15 fakes and "earned" more than half a million hryvnias every month.
Currently, the organizer and two of his accomplices have been informed of suspicion.
Law enforcement officials have found out that it is a COVID scam in the Rivne region organized by two residents of the city of Dubno, who had nothing to do with medicine. Criminals created fake documents using real credentials of licensed doctors and medical institutions of Ukraine.
"Clients" were searched through specially created groups in one of the popular social networks, and ready-made "medical documents" were sent to customers through postal services in all regions of Ukraine.
The cost of a fake varied from 3000 to 4000 hryvnias, depending on the urgency of its production. After verifying the data, the "customers" transferred the agreed amount to the attackers' bank cards.
As part of the criminal proceedings, investigative actions are ongoing to identify all persons involved in the scheme, the SBU notes.
