A well-known Odesa lawyer, Artem Grushanskyi, expressed his opinion on the issue of booking employees of some fields from mobilization to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In his opinion, this is a complex issue that requires careful analysis.
"I think that it is necessary to reserve employees of critical infrastructure - energy workers, as well as rescuers, medics, - Hrushansky noted. — And all the others... What is the critical infrastructure of the courts? In nothing. What is critical police infrastructure? Same".
The lawyer also noted that the problem is the booking of prosecutors, many of whom, he said, are inactive.
"I believe that the combat capability of the army would be an order of magnitude higher if they did not take ordinary men from minibuses who never held a weapon in their hands, or shepherds from the village, but already trained people - for example, employees of private security agencies who know how to use weapons and have physical training." said the lawyer.
Hrushansky also pointed out that there are many reserve officers and retired law enforcement officers who retire at 40+ years old and are now sufficiently trained and physically fit, but for some reason do not serve.
"In principle, everything points to the fact that corruption plays the main role in the mobilization of certain spheres," - concluded the lawyer.
