Martial law and general mobilization continue in Ukraine. Currently, Ukrainian military commissars are preparing to switch to a single electronic database - every man aged 18-60 will be assigned an electronic code.
VIN code is an identification code that the "Oberig" Register automatically provides to a conscript, so when documents are checked by TCC or police officers, it will be clear whether the person has updated his data.
Why do you need an electronic code?
One of its main functions is to quickly find information about any person who is on military registration. It is thanks to the electronic number that you do not need to search for all the information in file cabinets - it is already available in electronic form.
Codes that will be provided to Ukrainians will consist of 19 digits and will encrypt all personal information about the owner. The process of forming the database should be completed by the end of this year, and then it will be able to be used by all authorized law enforcement agencies.
It is expected that the code will contain not only the personal data of the Ukrainian, but also show where he is. This will greatly simplify the work of military commissars, because they will not have to look for men. The indicated codes will be pasted to everyone's military ticket.
How electronic codes will be provided
The procedure will resemble the delivery of subpoenas. Citizens who are officially employed may receive a special summons from representatives of military commissariats who have arrived at their workplaces. The document will indicate the obligation to appear at the territorial recruitment and social support center to update the data. As for officially unemployed persons, they are encouraged to voluntarily appear at the TCC and SP.
How to find out your VIN code
The VIN code or electronic code of a conscript is generated automatically when entering data about him in the register. But lawyers already know cases when people are called to the TCC to assign VIN codes.
This means that a person can receive a summons and must appear at the TCC to enter or paste an electronic code into his military registration document.
It is printed and pasted into the military ID. For this, it is not necessary to urgently go to the TCC. The code can be pasted into the military card when the conscript is called to verify data or undergo a military medical examination. According to the law, consent to code assignment is not required.
