The Economic Court of the Odesa Region terminated the lease agreement of the European Agro Investment Ukraine firm and returned the second terminal of the Sea Trade Port "Chernomorsk" to the state. This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.
Let us remind you that European Agro Investment Ukraine, in the person of its director Halyna Brynzyannyk, made commitments to the Ministry of Infrastructure to attract investments in the amount of 250 million dollars and to create a transshipment complex with a capacity of 1,5 million tons in the first year and up to 8 million tons in the future.
At the same time, the company not only failed to fulfill these promises, but for almost two years, since October 2019, it has not paid the salaries of 180 terminal workers. Just an hour ago, the amount owed to the port officials amounted to more than 15 million hryvnias.
