On December 1, a grandiose large-scale study was completed in Ukraine - the Second National Rating of Influence "Elite of Ukraine", conducted by the International Expert Club and rating agency ElitExpert. Its result was 24 ratings of influential persons from each region of the country, and a national hundred of key figures of the state.
At the end of 2021, a team of experts selected the most authoritative politicians, businessmen, public figures, cultural figures and athletes who have an impact on the development of the Cherkassy region. The results of the rating give an opportunity to track how the situation has changed over the past year and who actually makes key decisions in the region.
The first place in the TOP-20 was taken by the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Alexander Skichko.
Gennady Bobov, the former People's Deputy, president of the Panda Group of Companies, is in the second position, Anatoly Bondarenko, the mayor of Cherkassy, who has held this post since November 2015, is in the third position. It is noteworthy that last year he headed the list of influential people in the region, but this year he has dropped two places.
The fourth line in the rating is according to the prosecutor of the region Alexander Voronin, the fifth is occupied by an entrepreneur and public figure, the leader of the eKreative team, startups MapaMagic, Kidslo and FoodHacker Viktor Evpak.
The following five places on the list went to: people's deputy and businessman Andrey Strykharskyi; to the head of the regional department of the National Police, Mykhailo Kuratchenko; to the head coach of the Cherkasy Monkeys basketball club Maksym Mikhelson; to the deputy of the city council, the director of KP "CHELUASH" (Cherkassk operational linear management of highways) Alexey Melnyk; to the deputy of the regional council, military volunteer Oksana Tsyhanok.
Further on the list are ten more people who have a significant impact on the region with their achievements in various fields, among them are famous musicians, athletes and cultural figures.
11. Radislav Tkachenko – businessman, co-founder of the Nadezhda construction company;
12. Yury Fedoryaka – director of the Cherkasy Regional Philharmonic;
13. Andrey Khlyvniuk – singer, leader of the Boombox group;
14. Alexander Cherevko - rector of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University;
15. Andrey Bilda - head of the National Olympic Committee branch in the Cherkassy region;
16. Lyudmila Fit - organizer of the Cherkassy Book Festival;
17. Anton Yatsenko - People's Deputy, head of the Cherkasy regional organization of the All-Ukrainian Association "Batkivshchyna" party;
18. Svyatoslav Mykhailiuk is a professional basketball player who plays for the Toronto Raptors NBA team;
19. Olga Kasyanova - host, head of social and festival projects, public figure;
20. Ilya Kovtun – gymnast, bronze medalist of the 2021 World and European Championships in all-around.
